I collaged together elements from the garden and its surroundings to blur the boundary between the two environments and open up space for new definitions and names. My classmate offered creative interpretations of the collages with action-oriented titles. Names like (SURVIVAL) Debris Soil, "(CURIOUS) Dustbins' new brain," and "(BURST) Seeds in the fireplace" gave the plants a sense of autonomy and liveliness that defined the environments they inhabited, rather than the other way around.
(Survival) Debris Soil; (Constraint) Concrete Trunk; Invaders; (Curious) Dustbins' New Brain; (Absorb) Industrial Planting Pot; (Burst) Seeds In The Fireplace
