To TRACE, I used digital media to transfer pixels to vectors and digitally isolate various figures. The result was a series of images with different textures and figure/ground relationships. Using the same base drawing but simply manipulating the textures and isolating individual figures from the trace, we begin to evaluate the drawing's figural relationships differently and discover new opportunities in them.
