Further exploration of turtles' behavior, I was curious about how turtles might decide to stay in the pond or come out on the surface for basking. The methodology was to trace the change in body temperature of a turtle using an Infrared camera to understand why turtles orient themselves the way they do and how long they decide to expose themselves to the sun.
