I sought to collect symbols that represent the spirit of abolition, considering the park is named after a local abolitionist. Though the park is in one of Center City’s pricier neighborhoods, there was a considerable amount of progressive, anti-establishment promotion around. The resulting image collages the progressive iconography with the park’s scenery.
