Dingwen Wu
To me the word locate is related to “anchor”. Normally, when we locate things, we transform the three-dimensional into a two-dimensional map. This time I want to locate something invisible. For this work, I use a ribbon in my hand to show the direction of the wind. To create a linear delineation across my site, I move three steps in the same direction and repeat the experiment again. A drone in the sky captures my movements, which I utilize to create a map of the wind. Through this process, I set out to locate the invisible wind.
