In this season of Sweet Osmanthus, I tried to capture the location of the sweet smell in the air. The location of the tree revealed the source of the scent, while the wind diffused the scent to an unknown extent. By recording the location of the trees and points where I had smelled the flower, some sources could be determined while others were kept secret.

As I continue trying to locate the invisible, it is now winter and the Sweet Osmanthus season is over. So I have shifted to my auditory senses. The boundary of a sound is hard to define, and my map is a loose drawing of my feelings about the sounds I heard. From the site and surroundings, I have created a sensory map of the urban acoustic environment.
