The idea of “walk as though you’re drawing in layers” is intended to isolate experiences and elements of the site. Through the process the processes of remembering and imagination I reconstruct them afterward. I collected approximately 15 elements on one sheet of paper. As a collection, these looked like a simple catalog of random sketches. Digitally, I reconstructed my personal perception of the site using these sketched elements. During class, interesting discussions arose regarding different perspectives and ways of remembering; the act of layering and transparency; and the hybridization of the digital and physical.
