The objective of this first experiment was to find my site. I considered several factors, but most importantly: the site’s proximity to home (since I would be visiting this space often), as well as the diversity of site elements to draw inspiration from. I visited 4 different nearby sites, and spent time sketching various elements that drew my attention. Finally, I decided on the parklet on the corner of Van Pelt Street and Chestnut Street, adjacent to a church.
